first typography poster assignment… i reuploaded it to the school server four times because I kept tweaking it. never done this sort of thing before, so no harsh judgement please! I hope that once I learn more stuff in my course, I’ll be able to return to this with a fresh eye and rework it a bit, as I do think it has potential for my final portfolio.
update: I fixed it.. ish. Still not tooooo happy with it, the colours could use even more enlivening, but itll have to do for now….

so. this is a sketchbook assignment for an illustration class.. about debt and money issues. we had to create something without using cliche elements like piggy banks and banknotes. So I created a mountain and space.. and fragments of my resume sent out into the world.. ie space. idunno. the colours are nice at least.
why is this formatted so weird?
anyways this is a book cover design for Kafka on the shore. fish falling from space.
now onto other homework…
Sigh. Reworking some other old drawings. Still not feeling it. Maybe some things are just better left alone?
