illustration assignment - create a cover for American Illustration publication, utilizing a number. I chose 67… summer of love ‘67

if i had time i would redraw this by hand and take much more time with it. but this is a class that i really just need to wrap up so i can pump my remaining energy into thesis.

I dedicate this girly drawing of a cat to ilestsixheures. Its not just any cat. Its modeled after a thrift store find from a local secondhand store. Apparantly the cat figurine looked ‘stoned’. Go figure. :D

really into making silhouette drawings lately.

using a sketch of a cat to do something completely different, and later just made this quick little digital illustration for fun on the side.

 this is supposed to be florence welch. the reference photo of her that I used didn’t look all that much like her. Went for an art nouveau style illustration for my class project, this is just me playing around on photoshop.
